摘要 PURPOSE:To suppress desorption of hydrogen particle from a hydrogen storage alloy of a negative electrode, and to reduce self discharge by including anion interfacial active agent in an electrolyte, and by determining the concentration as 1-100ppm. CONSTITUTION:By including anion interfacial active agent in an electrolyte, the anion interfacial active agent is absorbed in the surface of a hydrogen storage alloy of a negative electrode, and the anion concentration in the vicinity of the surface of the hydrogen occlusion alloy will be higher than in the electrolyte. The basicity of the surface of the negative electrode is heightened, while the amount of remaining hydrogen dissolved is reduced only in the vicinity of the surface, and the desorption of hydrogen particle from the hydrogen storage alloy is suppressed thereby. Less hydrogen particle reaches a positive electrode so as to reduce the positive electrode, while deviation of hydrogen gas to the outside of battery system is reduced, and self discharging is also reduced. When the concentration of the active agent in the electrolyte is less than 1ppm, there is no effect of suppressing self discharging, and when the concentration exceeds 1000ppm, battery reaction is hindered.
