The electronic computer circuit for all four basic computer circuit types has as a main circuit a combined multiplier-divider circuit. The main circuit (1) performs parallel addition during multiplication and parallel subtraction during division. The main circuit is also used for adding two numbers or for subtracting one from another. For all four types of computing operations the first number is clocked into the shift register and the input which is not required is cleared when the corresp. key (multiply, divide, add or substract) is depressed. USE/ADVANTAGE - Computing circuit is developed from a multiplier/divider circuit for use in all four basic type of computer circuit.
