<p>PURPOSE:To easily manufacture the color filter of high quality with small color irregularity at low cost with a small number of processes and to enable mass-production. CONSTITUTION:A light shield layer 2 is patterned and formed on main surface of a glass substrate 1 in such a way that the shielding of the parts to be picture element parts are removed and ink containing pigment is printed on the picture element parts to form colored layers 3; and then a press plate 4 is pressed against the colored layers 3 to press the colored layers 3 thermally. In this case, the press plate 4 has recessed parts 4a for correcting the shapes of the printed colored layers on its surface abutting on the colored layers 3 at positions corresponding to the picture element parts.</p> |
