Foreign body detection appts. for material flow, esp. of food - compares signals from two spaced apart detectors after filtering noise signal, to allow detection of very small foreign body

Two detectors (4,5) are provided, arranged one behind the other along the material flow, responding to the same foreign body with time displacement. The electrical circuit records all the signals of the first detector (4) and stores them. The recorded signals are monitored as to the time coincidence with the signals given time displaced, corresp. to the speed of the material flow by the second detector (5). With the time coincidence, the signal is given as the output signal indicating the foreign body. The electric circuit logically couples the time coinciding signals, quantitatively for differentiating between other signals. USE/ADVANTAGE - For detecting e.g. metal particles in food flow. High signal/noise ratio.
