The object of the invention is a method for cutting meat or equivalent into cuttings of required size. Cutting meat or equivalent elastic material into cuttings of specific size is generally based on, at random eye-measure, which results in cuttings of non exact size. In the method according to the invention the required volume deficiency is drawn into the liquid space (2) behind the cutting edge (10) with the help of piston (1). Whilst cutting, this volume deficiency behind the cutting edge (10) is hence filled by meat (5) or equivalent. The membrane (3) prevents the liquid from bulging outside the adjusted volume to the meat side of the cutting edge. This way the cutting edge always cuts the desired volume of the meat or equivalent material. |
