A grinding machine for machining workpieces made of wood and ligneous materials has a work table (14) slidingly mounted in a horizontal table guide (12) of a machine frame (10), a grinding aggregate (18) slidingly mounted in a horizontal aggregate guide (16) disposed transversally to the table guide (12), a grinding tool interchangeably mounted in the grinding aggregate (18) and which moves against the workpiece, and a suction device with swarf collector (30) which extends inside the grinding aggregate as far as the machining site. A fee device (20) for narrow workpieces (68) is mounted on the machine frame (10) next to the work table at approximately the same height as the table, and the grinding aggregate (18) can be locked in the region of the feed device (20) so as to prevent it from sliding in the aggregate guide (16). |
