<p>PURPOSE:To separate sheets accurately without causing noise by arranging a means to deliver the lowermost sheet on a loading tray so as to separate/feed it, and arranging a push-pressing/weighting means to drive a sheet push-pressing means energized toward the delivery means side by touching the uppermost sheet. CONSTITUTION:Documents are supplied onto a document tray 11 from a paper feed unit 20 to separate/feed the documents one by one, and a delivery means, for example, a semicircular roller 23 arranged on a guide plate 21 delives the documents by touching the lowermost document on the document tray 11. Furthermore, a document push-pressing means 35 as a sheet push-pressing means to push-press the uppermost document is pivoted on a shaft 32a of the roller 32 so as to swing freely. The first solenoid 36 as a weighting/driving means is added to the document push-pressing means 35. In the case of paper feed operation, the document push-pressing means 35 drops by means of dead weight, and touches the uppermost document lightly, so that impact noise is hardly caused, and in the case of attracting the weight/driving means 36, it is already touching the document surface, so that the impact noise is rarely caused.</p> |
