PURPOSE:To provide an air purifier purifying air effectively and achieved in the increase of an air amount and in the reduction of operation noise, constituted so that air is sucked from the front where a filter is arranged and blown out to the side surface direction by a plurality of blades driven by an electromotor and an S-shaped casing. CONSTITUTION:Air is sucked from the suction port 14 of the main body front where two filters 9 consisting of an electret fiber filter layer and an activated carbon fiber filter layer, wherein fine powdery activated carbon is infiltrated in and supported by a nonwoven fabric, are arranged in parallel, and fine dust and the bad smell in air are removed by two blades 25, 25, an S-shaped casing 56 and the above-mentioned filters 9 while purified air is blown out to the both side surface directions of the main body from a pair of blowout ports 5, 15. One of the above-mentioned blades 25 is directly connected to one electromotor 23 while the other one is driven through a main pulley 28, a belt 29 and an auxiliay pulley 30 so as to follow the former blade to enable the increase of air amount and the reduction of operation noise. |
