PURPOSE:To eliminate troublesome operation such as the selection and replacement of a fuse which is very difficult in current rated setting and to improve the stableness of a protecting function for malfunction and an overcurrent due to in-tube discharging. CONSTITUTION:A power supply part 20 for a horizontal deflecting circuit 30 automatically varies a supply voltage as horizontal deflection frequency modes are switched. A remote control decoder IC 1 activates a switching power source part 10 with a power switch SW1 ON. In a horizontal deflecting circuit power supply switching type (multiscan type) CRT display like this, an impulsive flowing-in current generated by a fly-back transformer T2 due to the in-tube discharging is detected electronically and when it is detected, the remote control decoder IC 1 is controlled to turn OFF the switching power source part 10, thereby fully turning off the power supply part 20. |
