Triangular flight and landing plate - is used for guiding bees to hive entrance

The flight plate (1) is made of plywood or plastics or aluminium. It is of triangular shape with an aluminium strip on the base side. Another side has a recess of 120 x 12 mm cut out and the third side has a recess of 60 x 8 mm cut out. Two metal pins 25 mm long projecting 6-7 mm from the base side serve as spacers between the flight plate and flight board (winter position). The sides of the triangle are 245 mm and the corners are cut off, facilitating turning. USE/ADVANTAGE - A cheap and effective way of guiding bees to the hive and providing a landing and take-off area in front of the entrance to the hive.
