<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a portable electronic equipment which can perform the accurate communication of data even to an external device containing different types of protocols and also can start the communication of data concurrently with a start-up mode. CONSTITUTION:A mask ROM 2 storing plural types of communication protocols is provided together with a priority setting means which sets the priority to the protocols stored in the ROM 2, a selection means which selects the prescribed one of those communication protocols based on the set priority, and a communication means which performs the communication with use of the communication protocol selected by the selection means.</p> |
