<p>PURPOSE:To detect a rotational angle precisely with a simple construction. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor optical rotation angle sensor is equipped with a ring-shaped light-sensing element 12 which is formed of a semiconductor and made to generate a photocurrent by application of light 14 and with an electrode element which is provided inside the light-sensing element 12 and takes out the photocurrent 13 from this light-sensing element 12. Between these light-sensing element 12 and electrode element 13, a resistance element 11 so constructed as to show different resistance values according to the position of application of the light 14 is provided.</p> |
