PURPOSE:To provide an auxiliary engine driving vehicle-mounted type air conditioner capable of making fast a startup of operation when a heating operation is carried out and of increasing an efficiency of heating operation. CONSTITUTION:When a heating operation is started, a solenoid valve 9 and a solenoid valve 13 are opened and cooling water in an auxiliary engine 1 is circulated to a refrigerant heater 7 and cooling water for a running engine 12 is circulated to a heat accumulative heat exchanger 8. Heat is accumulated in a heat accumulative agent at the heat accumulative heat exchanger 8 and refrigerant is heated by the heat accumulative agent. A heat recoverying operation for recoverying a discharged heat from the auxiliary engine 1 and the running engine 12 is carried out by a refrigerant heater 7 and the heat accumulative heat exchanger 8. As a temperature of cooling water in the running engine 12 exceeds the first set temperature, the solenoid valve 14 is opened, the cooling water in the running engine is circulated to a hot water heater 16 so as to perform a thermal recovery and a hot water heating operation. The auxiliary engine 1 is stopped in its operation under a condition in which a room temperature is more than a set temperature, the solenoid valve 13 is closed and the hot water heating operation is carried out. As a temperature of the cooling water in the running engine 12 exceeds the second set temperature, the solenoid valve 13 is opened again and a heat accumulating operation for accumulating surplus heat in the heat accumulating agent and a hot water heating operation are carried out. |
