PURPOSE:To obtain a mothproofing agent composition, capable of synergistically enhancing mothproofing effects and simultaneously reducing the amount of a sublimable mothproofing agent and advantageous in aspect of malodor, economical efficiency and safety by using the sublimable mothproofing agent and a specific carbamic acid ester in combination. CONSTITUTION:A mothproofing agent composition containing (A) a sublimable mothproofing agent, e.g. camphor or naphthalene having 0.02-0.8mmHg vapor pressure at 25 deg.C, (B) a carbamic acid ester expressed by the formula (R1 and R2 are H or 1-2C alkyl; R3 is 1-4C alkyl), e.g. methyl carbamate, ethyl carbamate, methyl N-methylcarbamate or ethyl N-methylcarbamate at about (5:95)-(95:5), especially about (5:95)-(50:50) blending ratio of the ingredients (A):(B). Since extremely improved mothproofing effects are obtained as compared with the use of independent use of the respective ingredients in the aforementioned composition, the amount of the sublimable mothproofing agent can be reduced. |
