A container is heated from the outside through the bottom by a heating unit for a liquified gas container in which sufficient pressure is obtained on the liquified gas within the container under cold conditions. The heating apparatus 10 consists of a header 12 produced from a heat- conducting material and shaped in the same shape as the bottom of the container and a heat resistance 14, as well as an insulation channel 13. The design of the arrangement is shown in drawing 1. The arrangement can be mounted either stationary on a mounting foundation or in a moveable container by means of a quick-acting block. <IMAGE>
