PURPOSE:To separately copy a cover manuscript and a content manuscript and to impart stapling function by folding the copy paper for the surface manuscript discharged from an image forming means double and arranging the copy papers for the content manuscript discharged from the image forming means to insert them in the twofold copy paper for the surface manuscript to staple the twofold copy paper on the folded side thereof. CONSTITUTION:For example, at the time of a right-open cover mode, change- over pawls 41, 42 are subjected to change-over operation to transfer copy paper for a cover to the position directly under a stopper 45 while the leading and rear ends thereof are reversed through paper passages theta, epsilon to stop the same. Non-cover papers are transferred using paper passages alpha, delta. That is, the non- cover papers are brought into contact with a stopper 43 to arrange the leading ends thereof and sent to the copy paper for the cover standing by directly under the stopper 45 from the paper passage delta by releasing the stopper 43 and inserted in the copy paper for the cover folded double. Subsequently, the whole is sent to a stapler 50 and stapled to be discharged to a receiving tray 50. |
