PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which is excellent in compatibility, thermal stability and effects on organic chemicals and contains a refrigerator oil and hydrofluorocarbon by blending respectively given amounts of specific orthoester and/or specific acetal with an ester-base and/or polyether-base synthetic oil. CONSTITUTION:The title composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of an ester-base and/or polyether-base syntheric oil, 0.01-100 pts.wt. of one or more orthoesters represented by formulae I-II and/or 0.1-100 pts.wt. of one or more acetals given by formulae III-VI. In the formulae, R1 is H or R2; R2 to R4 are each a 1-18C alkyl, aryl, alkylaryl, or aralkyl; R5 is a 1-18C alkylene, arylene, alkylarylene or aralkylene; and R6 is a 2-18C alkylene or aralkylene. |
