<p>PURPOSE:To extremely efficiently convert a picture on a screen. CONSTITUTION:A visible light rays are sent from a display picture back light source 1 and a picture is displayed on a screen through a display picture liquid crystal panel 2, a light mixer 3 and a projection lens 4. Various kinds of display patterns can be displayed on the panel 2 by converting a pattern formed by a personal computer 9 into a controlling picture signal by a picture signal generator 8 and supplying the converted signal to the panel 2. The light mixer 3 mixes non-visible light rays projected from a non-visible light type back light source 6 with visible light rays through a window formed in each crystal cell on a non-visible light liquid crystal panel 7 and a slit 22 and projects mixed light. The slit 22 is scanned by a spot scanner/position detector 10 over the whole crystal cells and a position on the screen pointed out by a non-visible light sensor 11 is detected by the scanner/detector 10.</p> |
