PURPOSE:To provide an anti-tumor agent containing NK154168 produced by a microorganism as an active ingredient and exhibiting a strong multiplication- inhibiting activity against various cancer cells and adriamycin-resistant cells. CONSTITUTION:An anti-cancer agent contains NK154168 of the formula produced by a microorganism and having been known to have a plant growth-regulating activity and an anti-bacterial activity. The anti-tumor agent is used preferably singly or after mixed with an excipient or a carrier, and administered in the form of an injection, oral agent, suppository, etc., generally in a dose of 1-100mg/kg/day parenterally or 5-500mg/kg/day orally. |
