A single wheel lockable castor comprises a frame 10 having a body portion 11 and a pair of parallel side walls 12 extending downwardly from the body portion, with a wheel 20 disposed between and rotatably supported on the pair of side walls 12. The wheel is locked by engagement portions 26. A push button 30 is supported on the body portion of the frame so as to move radially of the wheel. A slide member 40 with an engagement portion 43 supported on one of the side walls of the frame so as to slide radially of the wheel, in response to movement of the push button. When the engagement portions of the slide member are engaged with the engagement portion of the wheel, the wheel is locked. <IMAGE> |
