PURPOSE:To make flat and smooth the surface of a formed item wherein prepreg is used, improve dimensional preciseness and obtain stable internal quality. CONSTITUTION:A prepreg outer plate 1 is put on a hardening jig 10. A U-shaped prepreg frame 3 and a clamp type prepreg frame 4 are folded on a mandrel 2 and these are put on the plate 1 together with the mandrel 2. A first press plate 6 and a second press plate 7 are placed on the plate 1. A third press plate 8 is put on the outer surface of the frame 4. These plates 6,7,8 are made from elastic silicone rubber and these plates have dimensions conforming with those of a formed item. The thickness of the plate 8 has a thickness of t2 at the lower part thereof and has a thickness t1 at the upper part thereof which is smaller than t2. The plate 7 has a thickness t3 so that the upper surface thereof conforms to the upper surface of the plate 8. |
