A knob (27) for operating a fader (15c) as an electronic device of a car stereo is rotatably and axially slidably mounted on a grille (20) detachably attached to a car stereo body (10). A wall (11) of the car stereo body (10) facing the grille (20) when attached thereto, has an opening (11c) through which the knob passes. A manually rotated operating shaft (35) of the fader (15c) is disposed inside the body (10) of the car stereo behind the opening (11c). When the knob (27) is pushed into the body (10) through the opening (11c), the knob (27) is coupled with the operating shaft (35) of the fader (15c) with respect to the rotating direction and axial direction of the knob (27). <IMAGE>
