PURPOSE:To obtain a fragrance generator for an air conditioner, which is simple in structure, can be produced inexpensively, controls easily an amount of fragrance to be emanated and efficiently evaporates perfumes. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner is provided with a vaporization type humidifier 2 having a humidifying layer 22 which has air permeability and is made into a wet state by a humidifying flowing-down liquid from a first supply device 21. A second supply device 25 is provided to flow down and supply a predetermined amount of perfumes to a portion 22a of the humidifying layer 22, and a fragrance generator 20 for vaporizing the liquid perfume and supplying the vaporized perfume into an air passage is constituted at the portion 22a. Further, constitution is so made that a humidifying liquid is supplied by the first supply device 21 to other portions 22b of the humidifying layer 22, and a shutter mechanism 34 is provided so as to open and close the portion of the humidifying layer 22, where the perfumes are supplied. |
