PURPOSE:To obtain the electrostatic charge image developing toner which is highly black, is small in grain size and narrow in grain size distribution and has a smooth surface shape. CONSTITUTION:The polymerized particles obtd. by dispersing a polymerizable compd. contg. at least a polymerizable monomer and coloring agent into a water phase contg. a dispersion stabilizer and subjecting the compsn. to suspension polymn. are dyed in a hydrophilic org. liquid which swells but hardly dissolves these polymerized particles. |
