PURPOSE:To obtain an electronic musical instrument which is rich in acoustic effect varying the extent of a sound field by varying the quantity of cancellation of crosstalk in the sound field. CONSTITUTION:This electronic musical instrument which generates a musical sound stereophonically with acoustic signals WL and WR of two channels has a cancel signal synthesis part 41 composed of sound volume control parts 411L and 411R which decrease output levels corresponding to cancel level values CLXY and CRXY outputted from a level control part 43, high-pass filter 412L and 412R, delay parts 413L and 413R which delay signals by delay times DLXY and DRXY outputted by a crosstalk control part 42, sign inversion parts 414L and 414R, and adders 415L and 415R which puts the acoustic signals WL and WR and a cancel signal together; and signals of the opposite channels are put together to perform a crosstalk canceling process. The additional level of the cancel signal is controlled with a slide variable resistor 30 and a joy stick 40. |
