PURPOSE:To prevent assuredly blockade of gas passage in a sampler by arranging a pair of electrodes being separated one another, in a spherical bodies filling part or its periphery and by electrifying the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:An inside of a sampler 1 is cooled down to lower than 0 deg.C by flowing a coolant such as a flon in coolant pipings 3. Sample gas is introduced into the inside of the sampler 1 from a suction hole 4 and goes through a spherical bodies filling part into which stainless steel balls 2 are filled, and dried gas is discharged from an exhaust hole 6 at the opposite side. When the sample gas goes through the spherical bodies filling part, the gas contacts to the balls 2 and the water content freezes and sticks to the balls 2. In the same manner, frozen water content sticks to a blockade detection part 10, freezing goes further in the inside of the sampler 1 and ice covers each pair of the electrodes 15 and 16. Since voltage is impressed between the electrodes 15 and 16, electric current flows through the ice, and the electric current flow is detected by a blockade controller and thereby the blockade controller outputs blockade signal in order to perform blockade prevention operation such as stopping of cooling down by the coolant pipings 3.
