PURPOSE:To obtain a low-cost recording device having fast recording speed by arranging a toner transport pipe so as to form negative pressure by the air flow of an air-flow generating means in the vicinity of the outlet of the transport pipe. CONSTITUTION:A decompression region is formed near a blow-off nozzle, the upper end of a toner transport pipe 12, by an air flow blown off from the blow- off nozzle 15, a toner T in a toner case 13 is moved toward the decompression region in the toner transport pipe 12, and the toner T and air are mixed in the outlet of the transport pipe 12 and the cloud 14 of the toner T is formed. The toner mutually rubs with the inwall of the toner transport pipe 12 during the transport of the toner T, and the toner T is charged with positive charges by the friction. The cloud 14 generated is carried near the aperture 2 of an aperture electrode 1 by the air flow, and the positive-charged toner passed through the aperture 2 is flown toward a counter electrode 6 connected to a negative power supply E, and attached on a supporter P, thus forming a toner image. |
