PURPOSE:To obtain a sash window having a wide opening face capable of ventilation. CONSTITUTION:Square frame-shaped master sashes 17A and 17B are provided to the inside of a window frame 11. Those master sashes 17A and 17B are capable of sliding in the type of a double sliding window. Square frame-shaped subsidiary sashes 21A and 21B are provided to the insides of the master sashes 17A and 17B, and those subsidiary sashes 21A and 21B are capable of sliding in the type of an up and down window. The subsidiary 21A and 21B are moved to lap them on the end of the master sashes 17A and 17B, and under such a state, a pair of master sashes 17A and 17B are moved to lap them on the end of the window frame 11. According to the constitution, four sheets of subsidiary sashes 21A and 21B are lapped on one place, and 3/4 of the whole opening face of the window frame 11 are capable of ventilation. |
