PURPOSE:To vary a sound recording range in which sound quality and sound volume are constant. CONSTITUTION:An output of a microphone array 15 in which microphone units are arranged in a line is filtered by a fan filter 40 to form a directivity and the sound recording range is changed by changing a unit interval (d) of the microphone arrays 15. Let a sampling frequency of the fan filter 40 be fs and the sound velocity be (c), then the sound recording range is expressed in equation. Since the sound recording range is controlled without changing the sampling frequency fs in this way, the circuit scale of the fan filter is reduced.
