<p>PURPOSE:To provide a position input device for computer which has dust resistance of being proof against the bad conditions such as factories etc., and does not need large flat space. CONSTITUTION:An operation element 2 supported by a supporting wire 3, input button switches 14, 15 are mounted on this operation element 2 and a coordinate data generator converting the load in each axis of coordinate direction operating on the supporting wire 2 into electrical amount respectively is provided. As the operation element 3 is grasped by the hand of an operator and the operational force in the direction in accordance with the will of the operator is given to the operation element 3, the load in the same direction as it is operated on the supporting index body 3, the load operating on the supporting wire 2 is converted into electrical amount respectively as the load in the direction of each axis of coordinate by the coordinate data generator. Thus, the position coordinate data can be obtained.</p> |
