PURPOSE:To effectively identify an error position error contents in a sentence including misinsertion, a falling error and a substitution error without using complex control based upon heuristics by forming a new retrieving element for identifying an error position and its contents. CONSTITUTION:Control for the detection of an error by means of information left by up-type left corner analysis is divided into two steps and arc completing processing in the 1st step based upon an arc compliting processing part 2 and retrieving processing for searching the cause of an error in the 2nd step are executed. Although an unfixed part of an arc is formed by the arc completing processing, the unfixed part of the arc indicates a position which may include an error, so that the error position can be identified by remarking only the unfixed part of the active arc. Since the number of standardized word categories existing as unfixed parts does not exceed the number of errors, retrieving processing can easily be executed by retrieving data having less categories with priority and answers can be successively obtained in the ascending order of errors. |
