PURPOSE:To obtain a module for an IC card making the IC card inexpensive and having data recording capacity necessary for passbook function by placing an IC chip on the predetermined continuous hole of a single-sided printed wiring board to fix the same through the conductive adhesive provided to the predetermined continuous hole. CONSTITUTION:The continuous hole 9a taking the continuity with the surface having no electrode part 3 formed to an IC chip 1 and the continuous hole 9b obtaining the continuity with the electrode part 3 by a bonding wire 2 are formed to a single-sided printed wiring board 5. A part of the IC chip 1 is positioned on the single-sided printed wiring board 5 and fixed to the surface having no electrode part 3 formed thereto through the conductive adhesive 4, for example, die bonding paste provided to the continuous hole 9a to obtain the continuity with the bonding surface 7 of a connection terminal 6a. Since the IC chip 7 is fixed by this method, the IC chip 1 having a chip size larger than the size of the connection terminal 6a can be used. |
