Fungicidal 1,2,4-triazolyl-propanols of the formula <IMAGE> (I) in which R represents methyl or ethyl, Z represents fluorine, chlorine, trifluoromethyl, trifluoromethoxy, trifluoromethylthio, methyl, phenyl which is optionally substituted by fluorine or chlorine or phenoxy which is optionally substituted by fluorine or chlorine, m represents 0, 1, 2 or 3 and n represents 4 or 5, and addition products thereof with acids and metal salts.
