<p>PURPOSE: To provide a display device that scans a signal processed by using a semiconductor laser in a video tape recorder, having no display device (CRT screen) on a white wall to adjust optionally a size of a screen image. CONSTITUTION: This display device includes an input path through which a composite video signal is distributed, a memory to store the video signal by each image area divided corresponding to the size of a screen, a control section controlling the scanning position of the screen and division of the screen area, a semiconductor laser scanning R, G, B signals read from the memory with a laser beam, and a scanning control section controlling the path of the laser beam so as to display an optical signal onto a white wall without another CRT and to adjust a distance between the display device and the display screen, thereby adjusting the size of the screen.</p> |
