PURPOSE: To provide a user interface function regarding a selected field for work station controller(WSC)/nonprogrammable work station(NWS) interconnection as previously provided by a programmable work station(PWS). CONSTITUTION: As for work stations to which a work station controller is connected, selected field structure is received from a host processor and the work station controller shows a selected field display panel to the respective work stations and decodes a key stroke signal received from a work station relating to a selected field display panel.
