PURPOSE:To make a long statement split translating unit for splitting a long statement to translate possible to automatically generate a readable translated statement by carrying out morphene analysis, and syntax analysis to build up a conceptual structure, and by splitting the conceptual structure. CONSTITUTION:The present long statement split translating unit is equipped with a conceptual structure 31 built up by treating a long statement for morpheme analysis and syntax analysis, and a prototype table 41 in which a prototype conceptual structure that can be splitted is prepared in advance and is registered therein, whereby an input long statement is treated for morpheme analysis and syntax analysis to build up a conceptual structure 31, whereby this conceptual structure 31 is repeatedly splitted referrring to the prototype table 41, and whereby a long statement is translated based on these splitted conceptual structures. |
