PURPOSE:To obtain the graphic controller which copies data between double buffers at a small frame access frequency and shortens the processing time. CONSTITUTION:A random access memory 5 in a frame buffer 1 is provided with frame areas 11A and 11B and a row data memory where data of one row can be read and written by single-time access is provided; while address control is performed by a row address register 6 and a column address register 7, data are copied, row by row, between the frame areas 11A and 11B through a row data memory 12. Thus, the data are copied, row by row, so the frequency of access to the memory is small and the copying time is therefore shortened. |
