PURPOSE:To realize a real time display of a moving picture, which has too quick variation to display before, in a window in any optional shape. CONSTITUTION:A dual-port memory 1 for a background picture, a dual-port memory 2 (horizontal 1280Xvertical 1024) for the moving picture, and a dual- port memory 3 (horizontal 640X vertical 480) for window definition are provided in front of a frame memory 4. In the dual-port memory 3 for window definition, one-bit data which defines the shape of a moving picture window 103a are stored, addressed by a moving picture position register 10 and an address converter 9, and supplied as a selection input to a data selector 5 subsequently. The data selector 5 writes picture element data composed of the background picture and moving picture in the frame memory 4 according to variation of the selection input. |
