PURPOSE: To ensure an improvement of strength, weight reduction and cost reduction by forming a core portion of a grip with a composite material of thermoplastic or thermosetting resin reinforced with fibers, and further forming an overmolding portion covering a core portion with resin having specific temperature. CONSTITUTION: A grip 2 of a bow is constituted such that branches 3, 4 are removably fixed to opposite ends through each screw 6, and a string 5 is trained therearound. A region 8 which is gripped with a hand is formed at a central portion. Herein, a core portion 9 of the grip 2 is formed with a composite material comprising fiber reinforced thermoplastic or thermosetting resin. An overmolding portion 10 that covers at least part of a surface of the core portion 9 is formed with resin having thermosetting temperature or injection temperature not exceeding glass transition temperature of the resin forming the core portion 9. As a result, excellent strength quality of the grip 2 is insured to achieve light weight and reduce the number of processes for cost reduction. |
