PURPOSE:To improve adhesiveness of polyester fiber to matrix of rubber, resin, etc., by treating polyester fiber with a treating agent containing a specific chlorophenol compound, irradiating the fiber with ultraviolet pulse laser beam having a specific wavelength and then subjecting the fiber to RFL treatment. CONSTITUTION:Polyester fiber is treated with a first treating solution containing a chlorophenol compound such as binuclear, trinuclear, tetranuclear compound, etc., obtained by condensing p-chlorophenol and resorcinol with formaldehyde, irradiated with ultraviolet pulse laser beam having <=380nm wavelength and then treated with a second treating agent containing RFL to improve adhesiveness of polyester fiber to matrix of rubber, resin, etc., formalin rubber latex. |
