The present invention relates to a method and device for preventing chattering and its associated drawbacks between intermeshing gear wheels or similar arrangements, primarily with respect to the type where the arrangement is intended to work within a given temperature range (T0-T2) and whereby a lubricant is used whose viscosity in the upper region (around T2) is less than the viscosity in the lower temperature region (around T0). The invention is characterized in that a friction ring (1) is arranged between said gear wheel (2) and said shaft (4), which gear wheel at a certain temperature effects a braking moment on the gear wheel (2) so that the chattering is opposed. |
