PURPOSE:To provide a burst radio communication equipment which is miniatur ized by using a battery whose voltage is comparatively low as the driving power supply of a power amplifier. CONSTITUTION:A small-sized battery 10 in matching with a transmission circuit block 3 is used for a driving power supply for the transmission circuit block 3 and a power amplifier 7, the positive pole of the battery 10 is connected to one terminal of a DC-DC converter 12, the other terminal of the DC-DC converter 12 is connected to the power amplifier via a switching means 14 and a regulator 16 to supply a driving voltage. Moreover, the output of the DC-DC converter 12 is also connected to a capacitor. Then the switching means is changed-over by using a timing signal sent from a 111 controlling the transmission timing of the burst signal. That is, an idle slot is used to charge up the capacitor and a voltage is applied to the power amplifier for a prescribed time by the charged capacitor. |
