<p>PURPOSE:To make the content of software exchangeable corresponding to jobs so as to improve the versatility of an IC card by mounting required software on a main body ROM/RAM and ROM/RAM card. CONSTITUTION:An IC card inserting port for inserting an IC card 2 is opened through the front face of a terminal 1. On the other hand, card inserting ports for ROM/RAM cards A-C are opened through the rear surface of the terminal 1. The ROM/RAM cards A, B, and C are respectively mounted with library software, various kinds of communication control software, and application software. The main body of the terminal 1 is provided with a ROM/RAM in which the software regarding a monitoring section, BiOS section, and BDOS section in a basic system section required for the basic operation of the terminal 1 are incorporated.</p> |
