PURPOSE: To diminish breakage in assembling by reinforcing a fragile electrochemical active plate by linking at least one of electrode layers to a bearing and electron conduction structure via several contact elements regularly arranged in a conductive and inseparable manner. CONSTITUTION: A plate 30a on an exchange member 30 is equipped to improve heat transfer to air flowing into a void space 31. Two plates 30a and 30b are linked to each other in a recess, and bundles 6 engaging an S-type side by a wire are soldered together in a hole piercing through the two plates 30a and 30b. A contact position 4c is uniformly located in a circular region on the surface of an electrical active plate. Such a circular region 40 covers a cathode layer 1c, and an electron conductive structure of an anode layer 1a is constructed of a wire bundle 7. This enables a uniform electron transportation. An outside peripheral space provides a communication between an anode chamber 2 and a cathode chamber 3. After an used gas is mixed with air in this peripheral space, combustion is caused on the outside surface of a bored wall 35. |
