PURPOSE:To obtain the high-reality brake device of the driving simulator which gives an operator a light operation feeling with play in the beginning of stepping on a brake pedal and a heavy operation feeling with strong reaction after braking operation. CONSTITUTION:This brake structure has a brake pedal 34 which is supported and fixed to a vehicle body so that the pedal can be stepped in, a coil spring 78 as a low-elasticity part which is coupled with the brake pedal 34 through a coupling part 74 and gives small reaction to the brake pedal 34 so as to simulate a play state in the beginning of stepping on the brake pedal 34, and an elastic deformation part 40 including a rubber elastic body 78 as a high- elasticity part which gives large reaction to the brake pedal so as to simulate the stepping state in brake operation following the play state of the brake pedal 34. Then the force applied to the elastic deformation part 40 is detected as the deformation quantity of the coil spring 100 of a detection part 42 and outputted as a pressure detection signal. |
