The invention relates to the field of comforts (conveniences) in dwellings and its subject is a screen intended to form a partition for a shower cubicle. This screen, consisting of at least two panels (1, 2) which slide with respect to each other, it being possible for one of the panels to be articulated about an upright (4) fastened to the wall, each panel comprising a frame formed from two uprights (6, 10 and 8, 12) and from two crosspieces (14, 18 and 16, 20), formed in one and the same profiled section and connected to end pieces forming the corners of the said frame, the profiled sections of a frame incorporating a slideway (23, 24, 25) intended to accommodate a slide (30, 32) integral with the other frame, is principally characterised in that the slides (30, 32) of each of the frames are integral with each of the end pieces (34, 36), known as first end pieces, of an upright (6, 10), each of the said first end pieces being mounted pivotably on the profiled section forming the said upright, each of the end pieces (40) opposite the first end pieces including a recess (42) enabling the slides (32) integral with the other frame (2) to be released from the slideway (24) in order to permit the pivoting of the frame. <IMAGE>
