PURPOSE:To perform an interactive editing processing on a large amount of picture data composed of characters and pictures at a high speed by adding an identifier which indicates whether or not the information prepared by an editing section is to be preferentially outputted to each one page quantity of information. CONSTITUTION:A normal job flag #1 or interrupt jog flag #2 is added to each one page quantity of output instructions prepared at a workstation (editing section) 300 as an identifier for indicating whether or not the information is to be preferentially outputted. The output instructions are transferred to an image sensor 400 and stored in the normal output instruction section 420A or preferential output instruction section 430B of a main memory 430. When a preferential output instruction (interrupt job) exists in the memory 430, a message setter 400 performs arithmetic operation on the output page and outputs a picture from a laser beam printer 11 (or a high-quality picture output machine 10). Therefore, when an output instruction to be preferentially outputted, such as a proofer exists, confirmation can be quickly made by interrupting a normal output, such as block copy output, etc. |
