PURPOSE:To prevent mixing of contaminated goods in normal goods and obtain safe classification result by outputting a classification drive signal from a signal processing part just after a determined time in the case contamination judgment signal is not outputted till a determined time because of malfunction of radioactive contamination inspection part and classifying the inspecting goods as contaminated ones. CONSTITUTION:If a contamination signal 18a is outputted from an inspection part 19 by a determined time t1 after inspecting goods pass a position P2, a classification device 13 takes an action according to this signal 18a. If the signal 18a is not outputted from the inspection part 19 by time t1 due to the malfunction of the inspection part 19, signal 20a is outputted from a processor 20 just after the time t1 and the device 13 classifies goods as contaminated ones. Therefore, a contaminated goods never mixes in the goods 5 having no radioactive contamination which is conveyed from a subconveyer path 12 to the downstream devices and safe classification result is obtained.
