RESIDUAL CHLORINE METER HAVING AUTOMATIC CALIBRATION FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To generate a standard solution having stable concn. by providing a sensor measuring the concn. of residual chlorine in a solution to be measured by a polarograph method and a means supplying a raw solution with definite high concn. CONSTITUTION:A standard solution generating means 90 has a container consisting of two chambers partitioned by a diaphragm 90b and provided with metal inert electrodes and the diaphragm is composed of a porous filter and the container is filled with an electrolyte agar solution containing the same components as a generating raw solution. A raw solution chlorine supply means 70 is equipped with a tank 71 having the generating raw solution received therein, the sub-tank 72 provided at a position higher than the standard solution generating means 90 and metering one batch of the generating raw solution to be supplied and a transfer means transferring a predetermined amount of the generating raw solution to the sub-tank 72 from the tank 71 to fill the sub-tank 72 and supplies the generating raw solution to the means 90 batchwise. A stirring supporting means 160 enhancing the quantifying properties of the generating raw solution supplied to the means 90 and supporting stirring is provided between the means 90 and the supply means 70. By this constitution, a standard solution with stable concn. is obtained.
