Transport and filling system for open folded boxes - has brakes to slow down packed together boxes beneath filling station

The horizontal conveyor belt (1) has spaced entrainment devices (2) pulling along the boxes (5) behind which is a further transport unit. This has two conveyor belts (7, 8) running either side and engaging on the boxes at a reduced speed compared to the horizontal conveyor belt. The boxes which are supplied spaced out from the mfr. station slow down forming a continuous chain allowing continuous filling. USE/ADVANTAGE - Only the supply of filling material and the speed of the boxes beneath this stream need be matched with each other. A vibrator (15) pref. shakes the boxes to ensure settling of the contents.
